In this paper we present an overview of two types of majority gate devices based on spintronic phenomena. We compare the spin torque majority gate and the spin wave majority gate and describe work on these devices. We discuss operating conditions for the t ...

Resistive random access memory (RRAM) technologies have recently gained large attention from the academic and industrial research communities. Significant efforts have been made to enhance the performance of the memory stacks from both communities through ...

In many Systems on Chips (SoCs), the cores are clustered in to voltage islands. When cores in an island are unused, the entire island can be shutdown to reduce the leakage power consumption. However, today, the interconnect architecture is a bottleneck in ...

Approximate computing is an emerging paradigm for designing error-resilient applications. It reduces circuit area, power, and delay at the cost of allowingintroducing errors. This paper introducesproposes a powerful technique, termed Approximate Resubstitu ...

As we advance into the era of nanotechnology, semiconductor devices are scaled down to their physical limits, thereby opening up venues for new transistor channel materials based on nanowires and nanotubes. Transistors based on nanowires and nanotubes inhe ...

The family of AM4Q8 chalcogenide Mott insulators gained attention in recent years for its application opportunities. Here, we explore and validate the resistive switching mechanism of thin-film of GaV4S8 sandwich ...

Very deep submicron process technologies are ideal application fields for NoCs, which offer a promising solution to the scalability problem. This article sheds light on the benefits and challenges of Noc-Based interconnect design in nanometer CMOS. The aut ...

Nanowire based platforms are widely reported for sensing applications and for their potential in the bio-detection field. In the present work, memristive nanowire devices are implemented for label-free sensing in liquid samples as well as in dried samples ...

A multi-channel front-end for electrochemical sensing is presented. It consists of a multiplexed four-channel readout interface supporting amperometric, voltammetric, and potentiometric measurements. The electronic interface is co-designed according to the ...

A highly-sensitive enzymatic biosensor is successfully experimented for detection of abiraterone in human serum with significance in personalized medicine and point-of-care chemotherapy of patients with metastatic prostate cancer. The dynamic range and lim ...

Logic resynthesis is the problem of finding a dependency function to re-express a given Boolean function in terms of a given set of divisor functions. In this paper, we study logic resynthesis of majority-based circuits, which is motivated by the increasin ...
