The head-to-tail dimerization of N-heterocyclic diazoolefins is described. The products of these formal (3+3) cycloaddition reactions are strongly reducing quinoidal tetrazines. Oxidation of the tetrazines occurs in a stepwise fashion, and we were able to ...

A series of coordination polymers contg. Group I or II metal ions, connected via an imidazolium-centered dicarboxylate ligand, have been isolated from water and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. All the structures incorporate water mols. t ...

Large coordination cages with unusual gyrobifastigium-like geometry were obtained by combining cis-blocked PtII or PdII complexes with clathrochelate-based metalloligands ...

A series of novel ruthenium(II) arene RAPTA type derivatives (arene = cymene, hexamethylbenzene) containing curcumin-based ligands (curcH = curcumin, bdcurcH = bisdemethoxycurcumin) and PTA (1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane) have been synthesized and fully ...

The preparation and the structural characterization of vanadium complexes with terminal and bridging N-heterocyclic vinylidene ligands is reported. The synthesis of the complexes was enabled by utilization of diazoolefins as ligand precursors. Structural d ...

Novel ruthenium half-sandwich complexes containing (N,O)-bound pyrazolone-based beta-ketoamine ligands have been prepared, and the solid-state structures of one ligand and five complexes have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Some of the ...

Trinuclear Au3(Pz)3 complexes (Pz = pyrazolate) have been used extensively as components in molecular and polymeric nanostructures. However, the constitutional dynamic chemistry of Au3(Pz)3 complexes remains largely unexplored. We have investigated exchang ...

The triple-chlorido-bridged heterodimetallic dinuclear complex [(dibenzo-18-crown-6)K(m-Cl)3Ru(h6-p-cymene)] contg. an (h6-arene)RuII fragment and a Group 1 metal crown ether fragment was synthesized and characterized by spectroscopy and X-ray crystallog. ...

A series of compds. of general formula [Ru(.eta.6-p-cymene) (R2acac)(PTA)][X] (R2acac = Me2acac, tBu2acac, Ph2acac, Me2acac-Cl; PTA = 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane; X = BPh4, BF4), and the precursor to the Me2acac-Cl deriv. [Ru(.eta.6-p-cymene)(Me2acac- ...
