The present invention relates to new organic sensitizer compounds and to photoelectric conversion devices, in particular dye-sensitised solar cells comprising the new sensitizers. The present invention also relates to flexible photoelectric conversion devi ...

We report a high molar extinction coefficient organic sensitizer for high efficiency dye-sensitized solar cells. In combination with a solvent-free ionic liquid electrolyte, we have demonstrated a 7% cell showing an excellent stability measured under the t ...

The aim of the invention is to improve existing amperometric sensors used to measure the quantity of a component present in a solution. This aim is reached by using a sensor provided with a measuring electrode (20) having at least one current collector (37 ...

State-of-the-art cuprous oxide (Cu2O) photocathodes for photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting have a long tradition of using gold (Au)-coated F-doped SnO2 (FTO) substrates for the improvement of Cu2O electrodeposition and overall PEC performance. Au i ...

There is an ongoing surge of interest in the use of formamidinium (FA) lead iodide perovskites in photovoltaics due to their exceptional optoelectronic properties. However, thermodynamic instability of the desired cubic perovskite (α-FAPbI3) phase at ambie ...

Two new cationic iridium(III) complexes with cyclometalating 1-phenylindazole or 2-phenyl-1,2,3-triazole ligands, (C boolean AND N)(2)Ir(4,4'-di-tert-butyl-2,2'-dipyridyl), exhibit yellow or green phosphorescence with quantum yields and excited stat ...

We report a regenerative iron oxide nanorod solar cell sensitized with squarine (SQ02) dye, which improves the overall light harvesting due to the dye's complementary absorption. The use of illumination sources which enabled selective excitation of Fe2O3 a ...

A method has been developed to synthesise zinc oxide nanowire arrays that demonstrate superior device performance compared to conventional ZnO nanowires within dye sensitised solar cells (DSSCs). This simple yet effective methodology has produced nanowires ...

An ITO free, highly conductive PET foil is fabricated by depositing aqueous single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) ink that exhibits remarkable durability when exposed to severe mechanical stability tests. Excellent adhesion of the SWCNT film on PET was obt ...
