Person–environment fitPerson–environment fit (P–E fit) is the degree to which individual and environmental characteristics match. Person characteristics may include an individual's biological or psychological needs, values, goals, abilities, or personality, while environmental characteristics could include intrinsic and extrinsic rewards, demands of a job or role, cultural values, or characteristics of other individuals and collectives in the person's social environment.
XO ProjectThe XO Project is an international team of amateur and professional astronomers tasked with identifying extrasolar planets. They are led by Peter R. McCullough of the Space Telescope Science Institute. It is primarily funded by NASA's Origins Program and the Director's Discretionary Fund of the Space Telescope Science Institute. Preliminary identification of possible star candidates starts at the Haleakala telescope in Hawaii by a team of professional astronomers.

XO-3bXO-3b is an exoplanet with about 11.79 times the mass of Jupiter, and it orbits its parent star in about 3.2 days. The radius of this object is 1.217 times that of Jupiter. Astronomers announced their discovery on May 30, 2007, at the American Astronomical Society in Honolulu, Hawaii. Its discovery is attributed to the combined effort of amateur and professional astronomers working together on the XO Project using a telescope located on the Haleakala summit in Hawaii.
XO-5XO-5 is a yellow dwarf main sequence star located approximately 910 light-years away from Earth in the Lynx constellation. It has a magnitude of about 12 and cannot be seen with the naked eye but is visible through a small telescope. XO-5 has a suspected red dwarf companion with a temperature 3500 K, on a wide orbit. The star XO-5 is named Absolutno. The name was selected in the NameExoWorlds campaign by the Czech Republic, during the 100th anniversary of the IAU.
XO-4XO-4 is a star located approximately 896 light-years away from Earth in the Lynx constellation. It has a magnitude of about 11 and cannot be seen with the naked eye but is visible through a small telescope. A search for a binary companion star using adaptive optics at MMT Observatory was negative. The star XO-4 is named Koit. The name was selected in the NameExoWorlds campaign by Estonia, during the 100th anniversary of the IAU. Koit is Estonian for dawn, and was named for a character in a folk tale written by Friedrich Robert Faehlmann.
Personality–job fit theoryPersonality–job fit theory is a form of organizational psychology, that postulates that an individual's personality traits will reveal insight into their adaptability within an organization. The degree of confluence between a person and the organization is expressed as their Person-Organization (P-O) fit. This is also referred to as a person–environment fit. A common measure of the P-O fit is workplace efficacy - the rate at which workers are able to complete tasks. These tasks are affected by environmental factors within the workplace.
