Abstract

We report fast modulation (>30 GHz) in a SOI resonant cavity using integrated Bragg mirrors and a gate-all-around transistor as active element. Modulation depth >90% can be obtained in 12.5 μm long devices.

Transistor

A transistor is a semiconductor device used to amplify or switch electrical signals and power. It is one of the basic building blocks of modern electronics. There are three symbols for AND gates: the American (ANSI or 'military') symbol and the IEC ('European' or 'rectangular') symbol, as well as the deprecated DIN symbol.
