This lecture covers numerical integration methods, starting with Newton-Cotes integration where a function is approximated by a polynomial, and then moving on to the Trapezoidal Rule for computing areas under curves. The Composite Trapezoid Rule is also discussed, which splits the integration interval into subintervals to improve accuracy.
