Résumé

Creative approaches to both planned and unplanned new practices remain an essential, yet somewhat invisible, part of sustaining living heritage. This collection of essays by interdisciplinary scholars and practitioners draws attention to how decisions are made about heritage and creativity issues, values, and relationships. We seek to shift away from a binary choice between authenticity versus change towards a multi-dimensional understanding governance of creativity and heritage. This is relevant for all forms of heritage whether described as cultural, natural or both.

Creative Problem Solving

Le Creative Problem Solving (CPS) est une méthode créative de résolution de problème élaborée par Alex Osborn et . Elle allie à la fois un processus structuré, des techniques, et des rôles attribués aux différents intervenants dans ce processus. En 1942, le publicitaire Alex Osborn décrit dans son livre How To Think Up, puis dans Applied Imagination en 1953, le brainstorming (« l’attaque d’un problème dans un style commando ») qui est à l’origine du Creative Problem Solving.

Creativity techniques

Creativity techniques are methods that encourage creative actions, whether in the arts or sciences. They focus on a variety of aspects of creativity, including techniques for idea generation and divergent thinking, methods of re-framing problems, changes in the affective environment and so on. They can be used as part of problem solving, artistic expression, or therapy. Some techniques require groups of two or more people while other techniques can be accomplished alone.
