Infiltration of mesoporous TiO2 scaffolds by CH3NH3PbI3 is more complete when using sequential compared to single step deposition processing and avoids formation of disordered capping layers affording greatly improved performance of perovskite based photov ...

The present invention relates to novel compounds that are useful as ligands in organometallic dyes. More particularly, the invention relates to dyes comprising the compounds, said dyes being sensitizing dyes useful in solar cell technology. According to an ...

Aqueous dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) have recently emerged as promising systems, which can combine low cost and environmental compatibility with appreciable efficiency, long-term durability and enhanced safety. In the present study, we thoroughly inv ...

A symmetric squaraine and its related non-symmetric structure are shown to have comparable efficiencies in DSCs, but with undoubtedly advantages in the low cost and casiness of synthesis for the symmetrical structure. ...

Preventing the degradation of metal perovskite solar cells (PSCs) by humid air poses a substantial challenge for their future deployment. We introduce here a two-dimensional (2D) A(2)PbI(4) perovskite layer using pentafluoro-phenylethylammonium (FEA) as a ...

Lead free perovskite solar cells based on a CsSnI3 light absorber with a spectral response from 950 nm is demonstrated. The high photocurrents noted in the system are a consequence of SnF2 addition which reduces defect concentrations and hence the backgrou ...

Transient absorption spectroscopy on the mu s-s time scale is used to monitor the yield and decay dynamics of photogenerated holes in nanocrystalline hematite photoanodes. In the absence of a positive applied bias, these holes are observed to undergo rapid ...
