Wigner's classificationIn mathematics and theoretical physics, Wigner's classification is a classification of the nonnegative energy irreducible unitary representations of the Poincaré group which have either finite or zero mass eigenvalues. (Since this group is noncompact, these unitary representations are infinite-dimensional.) It was introduced by Eugene Wigner, to classify particles and fields in physics—see the article particle physics and representation theory. It relies on the stabilizer subgroups of that group, dubbed the Wigner little groups of various mass states.
Symmetry in quantum mechanicsSymmetries in quantum mechanics describe features of spacetime and particles which are unchanged under some transformation, in the context of quantum mechanics, relativistic quantum mechanics and quantum field theory, and with applications in the mathematical formulation of the standard model and condensed matter physics. In general, symmetry in physics, invariance, and conservation laws, are fundamentally important constraints for formulating physical theories and models.
Matrice inversibleEn mathématiques et plus particulièrement en algèbre linéaire, une matrice inversible (ou régulière ou encore non singulière) est une matrice carrée A pour laquelle il existe une matrice B de même taille n avec laquelle les produits AB et BA sont égaux à la matrice identité. Dans ce cas la matrice B est unique, appelée matrice inverse de A et notée B = A. Cette définition correspond à celle d’élément inversible pour la multiplication dans l’anneau des matrices carrées associé.
Algebraic expressionIn mathematics, an algebraic expression is an expression built up from constant algebraic numbers, variables, and the algebraic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and exponentiation by an exponent that is a rational number). For example, 3x2 − 2xy + c is an algebraic expression. Since taking the square root is the same as raising to the power 1/2, the following is also an algebraic expression: An algebraic equation is an equation involving only algebraic expressions.
Expression (mathématiques)In mathematics, an expression or mathematical expression is a finite combination of symbols that is well-formed according to rules that depend on the context. Mathematical symbols can designate numbers (constants), variables, operations, functions, brackets, punctuation, and grouping to help determine order of operations and other aspects of logical syntax. Many authors distinguish an expression from a formula, the former denoting a mathematical object, and the latter denoting a statement about mathematical objects.
Audio over IPAudio over IP (AoIP) is the distribution of digital audio across an IP network such as the Internet. It is used increasingly to provide high-quality audio feeds over long distances. The application is also known as audio contribution over IP (ACIP) in reference to the programming contributions made by field reporters and remote events. Audio quality and latency are key issues for contribution links. In the past, these links have made use of ISDN services but these have become increasingly difficult or expensive to obtain.
Onduleur solaireUn onduleur solaire (parfois commercialisé sous le nom de variateur solaire, convertisseur solaire ou onduleur photovoltaïque) est un onduleur convertissant le courant continu de l'énergie photovoltaïque issue d'un panneau solaire en courant alternatif. Il existe 3 types d'onduleurs solaires : Les onduleurs autonomes ou offgrid ou ongrid Les onduleurs hybrides Maximum power point tracker Les onduleurs solaires utilisent la technique du maximum power point tracker.
Mathematical objectA mathematical object is an abstract concept arising in mathematics. In the usual language of mathematics, an object is anything that has been (or could be) formally defined, and with which one may do deductive reasoning and mathematical proofs. Typically, a mathematical object can be a value that can be assigned to a variable, and therefore can be involved in formulas. Commonly encountered mathematical objects include numbers, sets, functions, expressions, geometric objects, transformations of other mathematical objects, and spaces.
