Spinor bundle

In differential geometry, given a spin structure on an -dimensional orientable Riemannian manifold one defines the spinor bundle to be the complex vector bundle associated to the corresponding principal bundle of spin frames over and the spin representation of its structure group on the space of spinors . A section of the spinor bundle is called a spinor field. Let be a spin structure on a Riemannian manifold that is, an equivariant lift of the oriented orthonormal frame bundle with respect to the double covering of the special orthogonal group by the spin group.

We combine single-crystal neutron diffraction studies and Monte Carlo simulations to determine the spin structures and finite-temperature phase diagram of the spin-5/2 triangular-lattice antiferromagnet Na2⁢BaMn⁢(PO4)2 in magnetic field. Unraveling the Structure of Λ Hyperons with Polarized Λ Λ ¯ Pairs

With data collected in a dedicated energy scan from 2.3864 up to 3.0800 GeV, the BESIII Collaboration provides the first complete energy-dependent measurements of the Λ electromagnetic form factors in the timelike region. By combining double-tag and single-tag events from the e+e-→ΛΛ¯→pπ-p¯π+ reaction, we achieve a complete decomposition of the spin structure of the reaction at five energy points, with high statistical and systematic precision. Structure spinorielle

En géométrie différentielle, il est possible de définir sur certaines variétés riemanniennes la notion de structure spinorielle (qui se décline en structures Spin ou Spinc), étendant ainsi les considérations algébriques sur le groupe spinoriel et les spineurs. En termes imagés, il s'agit de trouver, dans le cadre des « espaces courbes », une géométrie « cachée » à l’œuvre derrière les concepts géométriques ordinaires. On peut aussi y voir une généralisation de la notion d'orientabilité et de changement d'orientation à une forme d'« orientabilité d'ordre supérieur ».

Groupe spinoriel

En mathématiques, le groupe spinoriel de degré n, noté Spin(n), est un revêtement double particulier du groupe spécial orthogonal réel SO(n,R). C’est-à-dire qu’il existe une suite exacte de groupes de Lie On peut aussi définir les groupes spinoriels d'une forme quadratique non dégénérée sur un corps commutatif. Pour n > 2, Spin(n) est simplement connexe et coïncide avec le revêtement universel de SO(n,R). En tant que groupe de Lie, Spin(n) partage sa dimension n(n–1)/2 et son algèbre de Lie avec le groupe spécial orthogonal.

Fibré principal

En topologie, de manière informelle, un fibré principal sur un espace topologique X est un espace ressemblant localement à un produit de X par un groupe topologique. En particulier, un fibré principal est un espace fibré, mais c'est bien plus encore. Il est muni d'un groupe, le groupe structural, décrivant la manière dont les trivialisations locales se recollent entre elles. La théorie des fibrés principaux recouvre la théorie des fibrés vectoriels, de leurs orientations, de leurs structures riemanniennes, de leurs structures symplectiques, etc.
