The Laboratory of High Energy Physics (LPHE) at EPFL is specialized in particle physics and is part of the Institute of Physics (IPHYS) and the Faculty of Basic Sciences (FSB). LPHE is actively involved in international collaborations, particularly in the LHCb experiment at CERN, focusing on CP violation studies, new particle searches, and rare decays. The research activities at LPHE require technical developments in particle detection, signal processing electronics, and computing. The unit offers opportunities for students to engage in Master's projects and doctoral assistant positions, contributing to both teaching and research activities within international collaborations.
