The Laboratory of Synthesis and Natural Products (LSPN) at EPFL focuses on the total synthesis of complex natural molecules, novel synthetic methods, and catalytic enantioselective transformations. Their research includes multicomponent reactions, domino processes, and metal-catalyzed transformations. They have achieved significant milestones such as the total synthesis of various natural products, including terpenes and alkaloids, as well as developing innovative synthetic strategies like dyotropic rearrangements and difunctionalizations.
