The Laboratory of Organometal and Medical Chemistry (LCOM) at EPFL, led by Professor Paul Dyson, focuses on organometallic chemistry intersecting with medicine, catalysis, and material science. Research areas include the synthesis of functional organometallic compounds, design of new organometallic drugs, and mechanistic studies of catalyzed reactions. LCOM also investigates the design of new homogeneous and nanoparticle catalysts, as well as the properties, reactivity, and catalysis of ionic liquids.
