The package automates the integration and updating of metadata between Archivematica (1.17.0) and AtoM (2.8.2), ensuring smooth and consistent synchronization between the two systems. The first script merges metadata from Archivematica's METS (XML) files and AtoM's CSV exports to produce an enriched CSV file. It extracts UUIDs, analyzes `` tags to retrieve technical information such as format and size, and enriches the data with descriptions, formatted dates, and unique identifiers before generating the final urls.csv file. The second script uses this file to update archival records in AtoM via its web interface. By establishing a secure session, it downloads and modifies records by populating relevant HTML form fields with the new metadata. Using BeautifulSoup, it handles dynamic fields and submits updates via POST requests.
