I studied Physics at the University of Turin in Torino, Italy receiving my M.Sc. degree in 2016. I received my Ph.D. in 2019 from Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy. My thesis was focused on quantum-enhanced optical measurements using the twin-beam state and was carried out at the national institute of metrological research (INRIM, Torino), in the quantum optics group lead by Prof. Marco Genovese. After my PhD I continued working at INRIM with a one-year fellow, exploring how quantum light can be used for improving the resolution of imaging systems. I'm currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at EPFL, on a joint project between Prof. Christophe Galland's and Prof. Niels Quack's groups. The goal of this project is to develop a new experimental platform for neuronal activity imaging, consisting of nanostructured diamond containing NV centers.
