Quantum computing is expected to complement classical von-Neumann architectures in solving problems beyond the reach of conventional digital machines. This new model of computation leverages the rich complexity of many-body quantum systems to perform compu ...

The rise of electron spin qubit architectures for quantum computing processors has led to a strong interest in designing and integrating ferromagnets to induce stray magnetic fields for electron dipole spin resonance (EDSR). The integration of nanomagnets ...

In this study, we develop and experimentally validate the integration of a localized metallic back-gate into a multi-gate silicon-on-insulator (SOI) field-effect transistor (FET), aimed at enabling front-gate coupling efficiency from room to cryogenic (mK) ...

This paper introduces a novel integration method of localized metallic back-gates into fully-depleted silicon-on-insulator (FDSOI) multi-gate FETs, enabling robust front-to-back electrostatic coupling from room temperature to cryogenic conditions, without ...

In this work we explore the fabrication and experimental characterization of multi-gate FD-SOI devices that can operate both as single electron transistors (SETs) and MOSFETs. FD-SOI SET operation is achieved with electrostatically induced tunneling barrie ...

In this work we propose and demonstrate the integration of ferromagnetic nanosized cobalt barrier gates in quantum dots arrays on ultra-thin fully-depleted Silicon-On-Insulator (SOI) nanowires. This innovative structure enhances both driving and addressabi ...

In this study, we validate the integration of thin cobalt (Co) nanomagnets in a front-end-of-line (FEOL) compatible process for electric dipole spin resonance (EDSR) manipulation in Si spin qubits. We designed, fabricated and electrically characterized thr ...
