Surface passivation of the perovskite photo absorber is a key factor to improve the photovoltaic performance. So far robust passivation strategies have not yet been revealed. Here, we demonstrate a successful passivation strategy which controls the Fermi-l ...

Although 2D|3D has shown potential for application in multifunctional devices, the principle of operation for multifunction devices (SOLAR Cell-LED: SOLED) has not yet been revealed. However, most studies have reported that the devices have only one auspic ...

Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) expressed great potentials for offering a feasible alternative to conventional photovoltaic technologies. 2D/3D hybrid PSCs, where a 2D capping layer is used over the 3D film to avoid the instability issues associated with per ...

Surface passivation is a critical factor for improving the photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cells. However, more robust principle investigations are required to build effective passivation strategies enabling high-performance perovskite solar c ...

By two‐step sequential Pb2+ adsorption and reaction with methylammonium‐iodide (MAI) or ‐bromide (MABr) at a low concentration level of 0.06–0.10 m over mesoporous TiO2 or ZrO2 film, a well‐defined nanoscale CH3NH3PbI3 (MAPbI3) photosensitizer or CH3NH3PbB ...

Interfacial engineering of the meso-TiO2 surface through a modified sequential deposition procedure involving a novel PbI2–HMPA complex pretreatment is conducted as a reproducible method for preparing MAPbI3 based perovskite solar cells providing the highe ...

Hybrid lead halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have emerged as potential competitors to silicon-based solar cells with an unprecedented increase in power conversion efficiency (PCE), nearing the breakthrough point toward commercialization. However, for h ...

We report the effect of applied pulse width on charge accumulation in triple cation perovskite solar cells (PSCs) during the Electric Field Induced Second Harmonic Generation (EFISHG) measurements. The PSCs were prepared in the n-i-p structure using the la ...

Methylammonium (MA) is one of the main obstacles that hold back the commercialization of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Formamidinium (FA)-based perovskite is a promising photovoltaic material due to its higher thermal stability and smaller bandgap. Howeve ...

Even though there has been numerous works performed based on electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) of perovskite solar cells (PSCs), however, many aspects of the obtained EI spectra are yet to be fully grasped. Moreover, the change of these spectra ...

The current study provides an insight into the thermal stability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) and the factors causing their degradation. To this end, a systematic stability study was carried out on n-i-p type perovskite solar cells involving mesoporous ...

Six organic sensitizers containing 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene and thienothiophene in the bridged group are designed and synthesized, which under standard global AM 1.5 solar conditions, the device using JK-184 gave a conversion efficiency of 8.70%. The pho ...

Planar perovskite solar cells using low-temperature atomic layer deposition (ALD) of the SnO2 electron transporting layer (ETL), with excellent electron extraction and hole-blocking ability, offer significant advantages compared with high-temperature depos ...

Herein, the optoelectronic properties of interface-engineered perovskite 2D|3D-heterojunction structure solar cells are reported. The reciprocity theorem is applied to determine the maximum open-circuit voltage (V-oc) the device can deliver under solar ill ...

Perovskite solar cells with mesoporous TiO2 electron transport layers have previously reached >22 % efficiency at the laboratory scale (

A set of novel hole-transporting materials (HTMs) based on pi-extension through carbazole units was designed and synthesized via a facile synthetic procedure. The impact of isomeric structural linking on their optical, thermal, electrophysical, and photovo ...

Metallophthalocyanines (MPcs) are currently emerging as alternative hole-transporting materials (HTMs) in perovskite solar cells (PSCs). However, the lack of systematic structure/photovoltaic properties investigations still hampers the rational design of M ...

A low band gap quinolizino acridine based molecule was designed and synthesized as new hole transporting material for organic-inorganic hybrid lead halide perovskite solar cells. The functionalized quinolizino acridine compound showed an effective hole mob ...

Molecularly engineered novel dopant-free hole-transporting materials for perovskite solar cells (PSCs) combined with mixed-perovskite (FAPbI(3))(0.85)(MAPbBr(3))(0.15) (MA: CH3NH3+, FA: NH=CHNH3+) that exhibit an excellent power conversion efficiency of 18 ...

We investigate the effect of temperature and light soaking on the stability and charge carrier behavior in triple cation 3-Dimensional (3D) and 2-Dimensional (2D)/3-Dimensional perovskite solar cells (PSCs) using electric field induced second harmonic gene ...
