Teaching & PhD Courses Building technology VI AR-341 The course is an introduction to the specificities and the methodology of the rehabilitation project. After a diagnostic of an existing building, students are asked to propose intervention strategies as well as to verify the relevance and adequacy of their proposal with the building. UE F : Architecture and rehabilitation AR-439 This class aims to raise the students' awareness to the specificities of a renovation project. The Teaching Unit focuses on the relation between renovation demands and a broad architectural vision, with particular emphasis on sustainable development. Urban dialogues: sustainability and mediation PENS-233 This course, in partnership with HEP Vaud, deals with sustainable cities and the potential of cultural and scientific mediation. Environmental and social issues are addressed in relation to the Chamberonne River, with the aim of designing and running a mediation workshop for school classes.
