Two-dimensional (2D) hybrid perovskite solar cells have induced widespread research interest owing to their higher stability as compared to three-dimensional (3D) analogues. The photovoltaic performance, however, is still limited. Here, we report a perovsk ...

Layered 2D perovskites have been extensively investigated by scientists with photovoltaics (PV) expertise due to their good environmental stability. However, a random phase distribution in the perovskite film could affect both the performance and stability ...

Two new D-pi-A sensitizers (L101 and L102) incorporating 5H-[1,2,5]thiadiazolo [3,4-f] isoindole-5,7(6H)-dione and 6H-pyrrolo[3,4-g]quinoxaline-6,8(7H)-dione core structures were synthesized and tested in liquid dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs). L102 achi ...

Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs) have been widely studied in the last two decades and start to be commercialized in the photovoltaic market. Comprehensive characterization is needed to fully understand and optimize the device performance and stability. In ...

An organic-inorganic (p-Si and phthalocyanine) hybrid tandem heterojunction Ag/p-Si/AlPc:H2Pc/ITO photoelectric cell was fabricated by pressing technology using preliminary vapor deposited heterojunction films of mixed aluminum-phthalocyanine (AlPc) and me ...

Various approaches have been employed to passivate the defects in perovskite films used in perovskite solar cells (PSCs). However, the passivation mechanism is often unclear at a molecular level, and the reason for enhanced PSC performance often remains el ...

Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have attracted intense attention based on their high power conversion efficiency and low production cost. However, due to the polycrystalline nature and the intrinsic hydrophilicity of the metal halide perovskite moieties, the ...

Different molecular layers on TiO2 were prepared by using the p-dimethylaniline triphenylamine based organic dye, D29, together with the coadsorbents decylphosphonic acid (DPA), dineohexyl bis(3,3-dimethylbutyl)phosphinic acid (DINHOP), and chenodeoxycholi ...

Metal halide perovskites serving as one of the most promising photovoltaic materials are gaining considerable attention worldwide. For achieving high performance as well as long-term stability of the perovskite solar cells (PSCs), a good quality of perovsk ...

Organic-inorganic hybrid tandem heterojunction ITO/AIPc:H2Pc/n-Si/Al photoelectric cell was fabricated by a pressing technology using preliminary vapor deposited bulk heterojunction films of mixed aluminum-phthalocyanine (AIPc) and metal free phthalocyanin ...

A new aliphatic fluorinated amphiphilic additive is added to CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite to tune the morphology and enhance the environmental stability without sacrificing the performance of the devices. Judicious screening of the perovskite precursor solution r ...

The present invention relates to a method for producing a solid state solar cell, comprising the steps of providing a conductive support layer or current collector, applying a metal oxide layer on the conducting support layer, applying at least one sensiti ...

Tandem solar cells combining silicon and perovskite absorbers have the potential to outperform state-of-the-art high efficiency silicon single junction devices. However, the practical fabrication of monolithic silicon/perovskite tandem solar cells is chall ...

Cost management and toxic waste generation are two key issues that must be addressed before the commercialization of perovskite optoelectronic devices. We report a ground-breaking strategy for eco-friendly and cost-effective fabrication of highly efficient ...

Cubic phase stabilization is extremely important for the application of cesium lead halide inorganic perovskite materials into fabrication of perovskite solar cells. Methods on how to stabilize inorganic perovskite phase have been discussed in this review. ...

A new heteroleptic polypyridyl ruthenium complex (see Figure) with a high molar extinction coefficient has been synthesized. The complex is demonstrated to be a highly efficient, stable sensitizer for nanocrystalline dye-sensitized solar cells. For a newly ...

It has been proposed that introducing the chlorine anion into a CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite material can substantially improve the materials properties as well as the solar cell performance. To elucidate the role of chlorine in perovskite solar cells (PSCs), her ...

We demonstrate a high efficiency perovskite solar cell with a hybrid hole-transporting material-counter electrode based on a thin single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) film and a drop-cast 2,2,7,-7-tetrakis(N, N-di-p-methoxyphenylamine)-9,90-spirobifluoren ...

Formamidinium lead triiodide (FAPbI3) has recently been considered as the most promising candidate to achieve highly efficient perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Excitingly, the state-of-the-art highest efficiency of FAPbI3 based PSCs have reached over 25%. Ho ...

In the last decade, halide perovskites have emerged as new semiconductors that revolutionize the photovoltaic field. Among this family of materials, all-inorganic halide perovskites are becoming a research paradigm because of their outstanding photophysica ...
