We introduce Phantomαs, an open-source software library to create realistic phantoms in structural and diffusion MRI. This is intended as a tool for researchers working in method development or translational research in the field of diffusion-weighted MRI. ...

In patients with multiple sclerosis (MS), conventional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) provides only limited insights into the nature of brain damage with modest clinic-radiological correlation. In this study, we applied recent advances in MRI techniques ...

In this paper we address the problem of detection and tracking of pedestrians in complex scenarios. The inclusion of prior knowledge is more and more crucial in scene analysis to guarantee flexibility and robustness, necessary to have reliability in comple ...

This work presents the experimental verification of the power transmission of a radiating field into the human head for Microwave Imaging (MWI) applications. We aim at finding the range of frequencies that optimize the power scattered by any anomalies from ...

This dataset contains a collection of ultrafast ultrasound acquisitions from nine volunteers and the CIRS 054G phantom. For a comprehensive understanding of the dataset, please refer to the paper: Viñals, R.; Thiran, J.-P. A KL Divergence-Based Loss for In ...

We describe a method for the automatic quality assessment of multi-slice 2D MRIs with FLAIR, T2, or PD contrast. Quality measures are derived by analyzing the air background, which can be used to sensitively detect typical motion artifacts. Validated on 42 ...

State-of-the-art deep face recognition approaches report near perfect performance on popular benchmarks, e.g., Labeled Faces in the Wild. However, their performance deteriorates significantly when they are applied on low quality images, such as those acqui ...
