Description

This lecture focuses on identifying and analyzing key stakeholders in the process of transforming courses from face-to-face to online. It covers the importance of stakeholders, stakeholder analysis steps, understanding stakeholders' interests, and creating project vision statements. The session also discusses strategies for engaging stakeholders, managing their expectations, and building trust. Participants engage in group activities to map key stakeholders and share experiences dealing with stakeholders who do not align with the power/interest ladder.

Educational technology

The first introduction of the LMS was in the late 1990s.

Blended learning

Blended learning or hybrid learning, also known as technology-mediated instruction, web-enhanced instruction, or mixed-mode instruction, is an approach to education that combines online educational materials and opportunities for interaction online with physical place-based classroom methods. Blended learning requires the physical presence of both teacher and student, with some elements of student control over time, place, path, or pace.

Computer-supported collaborative learning

Computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) is a pedagogical approach wherein learning takes place via social interaction using a computer or through the Internet. This kind of learning is characterized by the sharing and construction of knowledge among participants using technology as their primary means of communication or as a common resource. CSCL can be implemented in online and classroom learning environments and can take place synchronously or asynchronously.
