Agostino ClericettiExpertise
Agostino Clericetti was one of the first graduates in environmental engineering from the EPFL. With a post-graduate degree from ETH/Eawag in sanitary engineering and water protection, he is also active in problems related to air and climate, waste and contaminated sites and environmental impact studies, as well as in the management of large projects (new rail link AlpTransit Sud, waste incineration plant Giubiasco). He provides expert appraisals, was auditor for energy and CO2 on behalf of the FOE

Christoph LüthiTeaching & PhD Courses Water and sanitation for development ENV-402 This MSc course deals with the water, sanitation and solid waste challenges in developing countries. You will learn about the current dialogue in these topics, identify key players, know existing options of water & sanitation technologies, and be able to design and evaluate a technical project.
Camille Aude RollandResearchCurrent Research Fields Microbes in radioactive waste disposalIn Switzerland, radioactive waste will be stored in a deep geological repository hosted within the Opalinus Clay rock formation. During long-term storage, hydrogen gas is expected to be generated through the anoxic corrosion of the steel containers that hold the waste. To prevent the accumulation of hydrogen, we propose creating conditions within the repository that allow microorganisms to grow and consume this gas. My PhD focuses on thre
