Metallic two-dimensional (2D) transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) are attracting great attention because of their interesting low-temperature properties such as superconductivity, magnetism, and charge density waves (CDW). However, further studies and ...

Ecosystem productivity is strongly modulated by the atmospheric deposition of inorganic reactive nitrogen (the sum of ammonium and nitrate). The individual contributions of ammonium and nitrate vary considerably over space and time, giving rise to complex ...

Heterogeneous catalyst preparation has been performed for close to a century but has been rapidly evolving spurred by the evolution in synthetic techniques and growing needs in energy, chemicals and materials. An increasing number of catalyst synthesis str ...

Self-supporting thin films containing nanopores are very promising materials for use for multiple applications, especially in nanofiltration. Here, we present a method for the production of nanomembranes containing a 3D ordered network of nanopores in an a ...

Mixtures of cations or halides with FAPbI(3) (where FA is formamidinium) lead to high efficiency in perovskite solar cells (PSCs) but also to blue-shifted absorption and long-term stability issues caused by loss of volatile methylammonium (MA) and phase se ...

The electrodeposition (ED) of stainless steel (SS) -like FeCrNi alloys for miniaturised devices is appealing for bio-medicine as it would allow combining excellent material properties (e.g. corrosion resistance, hardness, bio-compatibility) at low-cost. Ho ...
