Data and code associated with the following paper V. Vento, et al., Phys. Rev. Res. (2025) A thorough explanation of the experiment performed is available there. The name of each sub-folder and file in S-AS_chi3_code.zip indicates the corresponding figure ...

The occurrence of quasi-bound states in the continuum (qBIC) in all-dielectric asymmetric grating waveguide couplers with different degrees of asymmetry under normal light incidence is analysed from the viewpoint of identifying the most promising configura ...

We present the first demonstration of a fully integrated hybrid external cavity laser (HECL) in edge-coupling configuration by means of micro-transfer printing. The HECL is able to achieve single-mode regime over a wide range of driving currents with SMSR ...

Humidity is a critical environmental factor in various applications, and its temperature dependence must be considered when developing thermo-hygrometer fiber sensors. The optical fibers that constitute the sensor must have a temperature reference, which s ...

The integration of transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) with non-planar substrates such as nanopillars provides a way to spatially modify the optical properties mainly through the localized strain. Similar studies to date have utilized insulating SiO2 n ...

Terahertz and far-infrared techniques are combined with complementary Raman and inelastic neutron scattering results to probe the low-energy phonon dynamics of archetypal antiferroelectric candidate - francisite (Cu3Bi(SeO3)(2)O2Cl). The combined results c ...

We analyze the superposition of Cartesian multipoles to reveal the mechanisms underlying the origin of optical forces. We show that a multipolar decomposition approach significantly simplifies the analysis of this problem and leads to a very intuitive expl ...

We report on a system to control the emitted wavelength of a laser independently from its pump conditions. To illustrate the concept, it is applied to III-V microdisk lasers fabricated on a CMOS pilot line for application to multicolored optical interconne ...

We experimentally demonstrate that temporal differentiation of optical pulses can be realized in a slow & fast light system based on a resonance. The waveform of a 13 ns Gaussian pulse was experimentally first-order differentiated. ...
