It is well known that helical magnetic fields undergo a so-called inverse cascade by which their correlation length grows due to the conservation of magnetic helicity in classical ideal magnetohydro-dynamics (MHD). At high energies above approximately 10 M ...

We consider the S-matrix bootstrap of four-dimensional scattering amplitudes with O(3) symmetry and no bound states. We explore the allowed space of scattering lengths which parametrize the interaction strength at threshold of the various scattering channe ...

This work reports the first observation of azimuthal asymmetries around the thrust axis in e(+)e(-) annihilation of pairs of back-to-back charged pions in one hemisphere, and pi(0) and eta mesons in the opposite hemisphere. These results are complemented b ...

Asearch forCP violation in charmless four-body decays of Lambda(0)(b) and Xi(0)(b) baryons with a proton and three charged mesons in the final state is performed. To cancel out production and detection charge-asymmetry effects, the search is carried out by ...

Decays of B-s(0) and (B) over bar (0)(s) mesons into J/psi pi(+)pi(-) final states are studied in a data sample corresponding to 1.9 fb(-1) of integrated luminosity collected with the LHCb detector in 13 TeV pp collisions. A time-dependent amplitude analys ...

The ground and excited electronic states are responsible for several materials' properties. The modern capability of rapidly solving on a computer the fundamental equations of relativistic or semi-relativistic quantum mechanics allows to compute the electr ...

The decay-time-dependent CP asymmetry in B0 s. J/. K + K-decays is measured using proton-proton collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.9 fb-1, collected with the LHCb detector at a centre-ofmass energy of 13 TeV in 2015 and 2016. Us ...

Conventional scenarios of electroweak (EW) baryogenesis are strongly constrained by experimental searches for CP violation beyond the SM. We propose an alternative scenario where the EW phase transition and baryogenesis occur at temperatures of the order o ...
