Scattering between charges and collective modes in materials governs phenomena such as electrical resistance, energy dissipation, and phase switching. Studying such scattering requires simultaneous access to ultrafast and momentum-resolved dynamics of sing ...

The quantum simulation of entangled spin systems can play a central role in quantum magnetic materials discovery. Additionally, the simulation of spectroscopic signatures, such as the dynamical structure factor accessed in inelastic neutron scattering (INS ...

Density-functional theory methods and codes adopting periodic boundary conditions are extensively used in condensed matter physics and materials science research. In 2016, their precision (how well properties computed with different codes agree among each ...

Most realistic kinetic calculations for tokamak plasmas are now required to incorporate the effect of partially ionized high-Z elements arising either from uncontrolled influxes of metallic impurities, such as tungsten in high input power regimes or from m ...

Exotic magnetic textures emerging from the subtle interplay between thermodynamic and topological fluctuation have attracted intense interest due to their potential applications in spintronic devices. Recent advances in electron microscopy enable the imagi ...

We present the very first density functional theory and dynamical meanfield theory calculations of iron-bound human serum transferrin. Peaks in the optical conductivity at250, 300, and 450 nm were observed, in line with experimental measurements. Spin mult ...

The dynamic structure factor of materials is proportional to their linear electronic response and it displays their excitation spectra. Usually the response is measured on the same length scale as the perturbation. Here, we illustrate that much can be gain ...

The paper report results of magneto-thermoelectric properties the single crystal Bi1-xSbx nanowires in glass cover with different diameters prepared by Ulitovsky-Taylor method. We study the effect of nanowire dimensionality in the Bi1-xSbx, nanowires in se ...
