Résumé

How do we write about the climate emergency in the midst of an ongoing and highly active war? What stories do we need to reorient ourselves as the world we once knew unravels, giving way to new configurations that emerge at an accelerating pace?

One approach is to examine how we internalize and adapt to the condition of emergency, revealing the ways in which these states tether us to a spatial and material awareness of our surroundings. This perspective underscores the interdependencies that shape the urban fabric, exposing the intricate relationships between built environments and their immediate ecologies.
