Nickel iron diselenide compound, process for the preparation thereof and its use as a catalyst for oxygen evolution reaction

The present invention relates to a nickel iron diselenide compound of general formula (I): NixFe1-xSe2, wherein 0 < x < 1, and to the use of this compound as a precursor of catalysts for oxygen evolution reaction (OER). This invention also concerns methods for the preparation of said precursor of catalysts for OER, the resulting catalysts, and applications thereof.
