This report delves into the integration of mobility in district-scaled energy system. Indeed, mobility represents a substantial energy demand that will in the future increase the load on local grid as electric mobility is developped. The aim of the report is to propose a methodology to integrate mobility into the REHO energy model. This methodology can be used to analyse synergies between the mobility energy demand and the build environment, as well as to quantify environmental impacts and costs of several mobility infrastructure configurations. The model is applied on two case studies in the neighboorhood of Suurstoffi and the city of Lucern. Results from the optimizations show that PV deployement is increasing with the number of EV (electric vehicles) installed at the city scale but not when optimizing at the district scale. Co-optimization of multiple districts demonstrates that urban district tend to oversize their PV capacities to supply the demand of neighboorhing districts. Lastly, the integration behavioural aspects of mobility in the model are discussed and several solutions are presented to refine the model.
