This study showcases the use of lignocellulosic pastes for the additive manufacturing of lightweight and load-bearing porous materials. The pastes are obtained via a milder approach compared to the isolation of conventional cellulose nanomaterials and cont ...

During coupling with carbon dioxide reduction reactions (CO2RR), plastic reforming as an effective alternative anodic reaction to replace oxygen evolution reaction (OER), offers dual benefits of reducing energy consumption and producing valuable chemicals. ...

Tremendous efforts have been made in developing highly selective catalysts for electrochemical CO 2 conversion to formate. However, the rapid deactivation resulting from structural reconstruction and phase transition poses considerable challenges to the sy ...

The reversible formation of hydrogen bonds is a ubiquitous mechanism for controlling molecular assembly in biological systems. However, achieving predictable reversibility in artificial two-dimensional (2D) materials remains a significant challenge. Here, ...

In this work, novel platforms for paracetamol sensing were developed by the deposition of Bi2O3, Bi5O7NO3 and their heterostructures onto screen-printed carbon-paste electrodes. An easy and scalable solid state synthesis route was employed, and by setting ...

CeO2-based nanomaterials and their rich redox chemistry provide a possible route to pollutant abatement in various heterogeneous processes, and are in particular used as sorbents for flue gases and as oxygen promoters in three-way catalytic converters. The ...

A counter electrode of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSC) is an important component, which often limits the cell performance. Here we report a low-cost and high-performance polymer counter electrode of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(4-styrenesulfonate ...

Poly-vinylpyrrolidone (PVP) stabilized nanoparticle (NP) catalysts are among the most active NP catalysts demonstrating excellent activities and stabilities in a wide and diverse range of reactions. One of the main limitations, that tend to prevent their u ...
