This paper presents the first measurement of ψ(2S) and χc1(3872) meson production within fully reconstructed jets. Each quarkonium state (tag) is reconstructed via its decay to the J/ψ(→μ+μ−)π+π− final state in the forward region using proton-proton collis ...

The High Energy cosmic-Radiation Detection facility (HERD) is a calorimetric experiment planned to be launched in 2027. It will be operational for at least 10 years on board the China Space Station. With HERD we will measure the energy flux of cosmic proto ...

A search is presented for new particles produced at the LHC in proton-proton collisions at root s = 13 TeV, using events with energetic jets and large missing transverse momentum. The analysis is based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated lumino ...

A study of the lineshape of the chi(c1) (3872) state is made using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb(-1) collected in pp collisions at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV with the LHCb detector. Candidate chi(c1)(3872) and ...

We present a new measurement of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element vertical bar V-cb vertical bar from B-0 -> D*(-)l(+)nu(l) decays, reconstructed with the full Belle data set of 711 fb(-1) integrated luminosity. Two form factor parametrizations, ...

We report a study of the decay D-0 -> (KSKS0)-K-0 using 921 fb(-1) of data collected at or near the (sic)(4S) and (sic)(5S) resonances with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric energy e(+)e(-) collider. The measured time-integrated CP asymmetry is A(C ...

A disk that is free to rotate about its axis and connected to a torsional spring behaves as a damped oscillator when twisted and released. The initial elastic energy is periodically turned to kinetic energy and it gets progressively dissipated by the visco ...

Measurements of CP observables in B-+/- -> DK +/- and B-+/- -> D pi(+/-) decays are presented where the D meson is reconstructed in the final states K-+/-pi(-/+), pi K-+/-(-/+), K+K-, pi(+)pi(-), K-+/-pi(-/+)pi(+)pi(-), pi K-+/-(-/+)pi(+)pi(-) and pi(+)pi( ...

We report a measurement of the CP-violation parameter phi(1) obtained in a time-dependent analysis of B-0 -> (D) over bar(*)(0)h(0) decays followed by (D) over bar (0) -> K-S(0)pi(+)pi decay. A model-independent measurement is performed using the binned Da ...

This Letter presents a study of the flavor-changing neutral current radiative B-+/- -> K-+/-pi(-/+)pi(+/-)gamma decays performed using data collected in proton-proton collisions with the LHCb detector at 7 and 8 TeV center-of-mass energies. In this sample, ...

First evidence of the B-0 -> J/psi omega decay is found and the B-s(0) -> J/psi eta and B-s(0) -> J/psi eta' decays are studied using a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb(-1) collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collis ...

A search for CP violation in the phase-space structures of 130 and 15 decays to the final states K-K+pi(-)pi(+) and pi(-)pi(+)pi(+)pi(-) is presented. The search is carried out with a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb(-1) collect ...
