Recent expert consensus publications have highlighted the issue of poor reproducibility in magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) studies, mainly due to the lack of standardized reporting criteria, which affects their clinical applicability. To combat this, ...

Data for: "A Neural-Network-Based Convex Regularizer for Inverse Problems". The corresponding scripts can be accessed on GitHub (https://github.com/axgoujon/convex_ridge_regularizers). The data is organized as follows: - ct_data_sets.tar.gz: contains prepr ...

The state-of-the art RF and millimeter-wave first-cut circuits design requires simple hand calculation methods to avoid time-consuming iterative simulations. The classical MOSFET sizing methods used in advanced technologies, still rely on questionable and ...

OBJECTIVES: For turbo spin echo (TSE) sequences to be useful at ultra-high field, they should ideally employ an RF pulse train compensated for the B 1 + inhomogeneity. Previously, it was shown that a single kT-point pulse designed in the small tip-angle re ...

This contribution seeks to identify a few factors that have contributed to the success of a thriving discipline, and to identify threats that could put future prospects at risk. Many of these factors are not specific to magnetic resonance, and may also app ...

Multipactor is a resonant vacuum discharge occurring in microwave components of satellite systems as well as in particle accelerators. Due to its undesirable effects, multipactor analysis constitutes a mandatory step in the design of modern satellite compo ...

Nowadays mobile and battery-powered applications push the need for radically miniaturized and low-power frequency standards that surpass the stability achievable with quartz oscillators. For the miniaturization of double-resonance rubidium (Rb-87) atomic c ...

In standard Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP) electron spins are polarized at low temperatures in a strong magnetic field and this polarization is transferred to the nuclear spins by means of a microwave field. To obtain high nuclear polarizations cryogen ...

Investigation on the interplay of plasmonic resonances in binary nanostructures indicated that, at a fixed wavelength, with a variation in the difference permittivity ratio eta=(epsilon(2)-epsilon(0)/epsilon(1)-epsilon(0)), resonances exhibit the dielectri ...

Knowledge of proton T-2 relaxation time of metabolites is essential for proper quantitation of metabolite concentrations in localized proton spectroscopy, especially at moderate to long TEs. Although the T-2 relaxation time of singlets, such as that of cre ...

In this paper the problem of intensity inhomogeneity at high magnetic field on magnetic resonance images is addressed. Specifically, rat brain images at 9.4T acquired with a surface coil are bias corrected. We propose a low- pass frequency model that takes ...

Magnetic diagnostics are essential for the operation and understanding of a magnetic fusion device. Magnetic data are used in real time to measure and control the current, shape, and position of the discharge; the thermal energy of the plasma; the confinin ...
