Mechanical parameters of stone masonry represent one of the main sources of uncertainty and significantly influence the outcomes of numerical analyses. To address this challenge, we present an open database, originating from the extensive study by Vanin et al. (2017), which includes 123 quasi-static shear-compression tests on stone masonry walls documented in literature. Regular updates with data from recent experimental campaigns ensure the database reflects the latest findings. The database is publicly available through an interactive platform at https://eesd-epfl.github.io/StoneMasonryDatabase [1]. The platform allows advanced filtering options based on the masonry typology, as defined by the Italian code, and the type of applied loading history, whether monotonic or cyclic. A wide range of masonry wall geometries are included, tested under different boundary conditions. Users can extract detailed information on the stiffness, strength, and drift capacity of masonry walls with different types of mortar joints. Moreover, the failure mechanism, classified as flexural, shear, or hybrid, is also documented for each specimen. In addition to raw force-displacement data, users can access force-displacement envelope curves, bilinear approximation curves, crack maps, and test photos where available. Designed to facilitate both academic research and practical applications, this comprehensive resource provides essential parameters for seismic assessment of stone masonry buildings. By making this dataset publicly available on our interactive online platform, we aim to contribute to the development of reliable and accountable standards and recommendations for the seismic assessment of historical structures.
