To constrain cosmological models beyond ACDM, the development of the Euclid analysis pipeline requires simulations that capture the non-linear phenomenology of such models. We present an overview of numerical methods and N-body simulation codes developed t ...

We present the DESI 2024 galaxy and quasar baryon acoustic oscillations (BAO) measurements using over 5.7 million unique galaxy and quasar redshifts in the range 0.1 < z < 2.1. Divided by tracer type, we utilize 300,017 galaxies from the magnitude-limited ...

This paper presents the specification, design, and development of the Visible Camera (VIS) on the European Space Agency’s Euclid mission. VIS is a large optical-band imager with a field of view of 0.54 deg2 sampled at 000 . 1 with an array of 609 Megapixel ...

The discovery of the Cosmic Microwave Background marked a pivotal moment in Physical Cosmology, propelling the field into an era of unprecedented precision in describing the Universe. Over the past two decades, rapid advancements in spectroscopic surveys h ...

Context. The European Space Agency’s Euclid mission is one of a raft of forthcoming large-scale cosmology surveys that will map the large-scale structure in the Universe with unprecedented precision. The mission will collect a vast amount of data that will ...

The spatial distribution of dwarf galaxies around their host galaxies is a critical test for the standard model of cosmology because it probes the dynamics of dark matter halos and is independent of the internal baryonic processes of galaxies. Comoving pla ...

To obtain an accurate cosmological inference from upcoming weak lensing surveys such as the one conducted by Euclid, the shear measurement requires calibration using galaxy image simulations. As it typically requires millions of simulated galaxy images and ...

Strong gravitational lensing is a powerful tool to provide constraints on galaxy mass distributions and cosmological parameters, such as the Hubble constant, H0. Nevertheless, inference of such parameters from images of lensing systems is not trivial as pa ...

A search for direct production of low-mass dimuon resonances is performed using root s = 13TeV proton-proton collision data collected by the CMS experiment during the 2017-2018 operation of the CERN LHC with an integrated luminosity of 96.6 fb(-1). The sea ...

The DES-CMASS sample (DMASS) is designed to optimally combine the weak lensing measurements from the Dark Energy Survey (DES) and redshift-space distortions (RSD) probed by the CMASS galaxy sample from the Baryonic Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey. In this ...

We perform a cosmic shear analysis in harmonic space using the first year of data collected by the Dark Energy Survey (DES-Y1). We measure the cosmic weak lensing shear power spectra using the metacalibration catalogue and perform a likelihood analysis wit ...

We present a parametric strong-lensing analysis of three massive galaxy clusters for which Hubble Space Telescope imaging is available, as well as spectroscopy of multiply imaged systems and galaxy cluster members. Our aim is to probe the inner shape of da ...

We present a tomographic weak lensing analysis of the Kilo Degree Survey Data Release 4 (KiDS-1000), using a new pseudo angular power spectrum estimator (pseudo-C-l) under development for the ESA Euclid mission. Over 21 million galaxies with shape informat ...

Euclid is a mission of the European Space Agency that is designed to constrain the properties of dark energy and gravity via weak gravitational lensing and galaxy clustering. It will carry out a wide area imaging and spectroscopy survey (the Euclid Wide Su ...

Pair-instability supernovae are theorized supernovae that have not yet been observationally confirmed. They are predicted to exist in low-metallicity environments. Because overall metallicity becomes lower at higher redshifts, deep near-infrared transient ...

We develop a series of N-body data challenges, functional to the final analysis of the extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (eBOSS) Data Release 16 (DR16) galaxy sample. The challenges are primarily based on high-fidelity catalogues constructed ...

It is well known since the works of Utiyama and Kibble that the gravitational force can be obtained by gauging the Poincare group, which puts gravity on the same footing as the standard model fields. The resulting theory-Einstein-Cartan gravity-inevitably ...

We show how Einstein-Cartan gravity can accommodate both global scale and local scale (Weyl) invariance. To this end, we construct a wide class of models with nonpropagating torsion and a nonminimally coupled scalar field. In phenomenological applications ...

The recent generations of massive spectroscopic surveys aim at the ray collection from a multitude of cosmological targets in the course of observations. For this purpose, astrobots are used to change the configuration of optical fibers from one observatio ...

We present a new, updated version of the EuclidEmulator (called EuclidEmulator2), a fast and accurate predictor for the nonlinear correction of the matter power spectrum. 2 per cent level accurate emulation is now supported in the eight-dimensional paramet ...
