Treatment of an areneruthenium dichloride dimer with thiols RSH to lead to cationic trithiolato complexes of the type [(arene)2Ru2(SR)3]+ was shown to proceed through the neutral thiolato complexes [(arene)2Ru2(SR)2Cl2], which have been isolated and charac ...

An approach to characterize the interactions of RAPTA-T, a novel ruthenium-based anticancer drug candidate with intriguing antimetastatic properties, with human ovarian cancer cells in vitro is described. The distribution profile of the metallodrug within ...

Two generations of lipophilic pyrenyl functionalized poly(benzyl ether) dendrimers (P-1 and P-2) have been synthesized. The thermal properties of the two functionalized dendrimers have been investigated, and the pyrenyl group of the dendritic molecules enc ...

A series of bimetallic titanium-ruthenium complexes of general formula (η5-C5H5)(μ-η5:κ1-C5H4(CR12)nPR2R3)TiCl2RuCl2 (n = 0, 1, 2 or 4; R1 = H or Me; R2 = H, Ph, or Cy; R3 = Ph or Cy) have been synthesized, including two novel compds. as wel ...

The polar phosphinyl carboxamide, 1'-(diphenylphosphino)-1-[N-(2-hydroxyethyl)carbamoyl]ferrocene [I; Z = null; (1)] , reacts readily with H2O2 and elemental S to give the corresponding phosphine oxide I [Z = O (2)] and phosphine sulfide I [Z = S (3)], res ...

New cationic diruthenium complexes of the type [(arene)2Ru2(SPh)3]+, arene being C6H6, p-iPrC6H4Me, C6Me6, C6H5R, where R = (CH2)nOC(O)C6H4-p-O(CH2)6CH3 or (CH2)nOC(O)CH:CHC6H4-p-OCH3 and n = 2 or 4, are obtained from the reaction of the corresponding prec ...
