High performance of both photovoltaic and electroluminescent devices requires low nonradiative recombination losses. In perovskites, such loses strongly depend on the carrier traps related to the mobile ions and vacancies, causing I-V hysteresis of solar c ...

Recent years have witnessed considerable progress in the development of solar cells based on lead halide perovskite materials. However, their intrinsic instability remains a limitation. In this context, the interplay between the thermal degradation and the ...

This work reports the design and synthesis of acceptor-donor-acceptor (A-D-A) type low band gap hole transport materials (HTM) comprising S,N-heteropentacene central units for solid-state perovskite-based solar cells. The optical and electrochemical proper ...

We present a facile mechanochemical route for the preparation of hybrid CH3NH3PbI3 (MAPbI(3)) perovskite particles with the size of several hundred nanometers for high-efficiency thin-film photovoltaic devices. Powder X-ray diffraction measurements demonst ...

Metallophthalocyanines (MPcs) are currently emerging as alternative hole-transporting materials (HTMs) in perovskite solar cells (PSCs). However, the lack of systematic structure/photovoltaic properties investigations still hampers the rational design of M ...

We present the design and synthesis of a promising hole transporting material (HTM) using the 4,40-spirobi[cyclopenta[2,1-b: 3,4-b']dithiophene] derivative (spiro-CPDT) as the core and triarylamines as terminal units. The implementation of the new HTM in C ...

Four spirobisacridine (SBA) hole-transporting materials were synthesized and employed in perovskite solar cells (PSCs). The molecules bear electronically inert alkyl chains of different length and bulkiness, attached to in-plane N atoms of nearly orthogona ...

Organolead iodide perovskite, CH3NH3PbI3, was prepared in the form of nanowire by means of a small quantity of aprotic solvent in two-step spin-coating procedure. One-dimensional nanowire perovskite with the mean diameter of 100 nm showed faster carrier se ...

To understand the cause of the high open circuit photovoltage (VOC) achieved by todays' state of the art perovskite solar cells (PSCs), we examine formamidinium lead bromide CH(NH2)(2)PbBr3 films by ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopy (TAS). By usi ...

Charge carrier dynamics in organolead iodide perovskites is analyzed by employing time-resolved photoluminescence spectroscopy with several ps time resolution. The measurements performed by varying photoexcitation intensity over five orders of magnitude en ...
