Artists often take advantage of the limitations of the human visual system to create art that provides new experiences for the observers. Similarly, in this thesis, we explore new computational artistic compositions that create new visual experiences by re ...

The present invention concerns a method of classifying a media item into a user profile suitability class in a classification system comprising a set of pre-trained artificial neural networks. The method comprising: receiving (101) a media file; extracting ...

We present a method for hiding images in synthetic videos and reveal them by temporal averaging. We developed a visual masking method that hides the input image both spatially and temporally. Our masking approach consists of temporal and spatial pixel by p ...

We present a method for synthesizing high reliefs, a sculpting technique that attaches 3D objects onto a 2D surface within a limited depth range. The main challenges are the preservation of distinct scene parts by preserving depth discontinuities, the fine ...

There is a bias in the inference pipeline of most diffusion models. This bias arises from a signal leak whose distribution deviates from the noise distribution, creating a discrepancy between training and inference processes. We demonstrate that this signa ...

We present a method for hiding images in synthetic videos and reveal them by temporal averaging. The main challenge is to develop a visual masking method that hides the input image both spatially and temporally. Our masking approach consists of temporal an ...

We present Diffusion in Style, a simple method to adapt Stable Diffusion to any desired style, using only a small set of target images. It is based on the key observation that the style of the images generated by Stable Diffusion is tied to the initial lat ...

Providing multiple meanings in a single piece of art has always been intriguing to both artists and observers. We present Purkinje images, which have different interpretations depending on the luminance adaptation of the observer. Finding such images is an ...

We disclose a method for synthesizing by computer an artwork where 2D and 3D contents are integrated within a same composition. Such an artwork creates plausible effects for the viewers by showing a different relationship between 2D and 3D at each viewing ...
