Conjugated polymers and small molecules are a promising class of semiconducting materials for application in macroelectronic and energy conversion devices. The development of high performance devices employing this class of semicrystalline materials ultima ...

The ultimate control over chain self-assembly is key to unravel and optimize the relationship between film microstructure and charge carrier mobility in solution processable conjugated polymer semiconductors. Here we employ preparatory size exclusion chrom ...

The Stille-coupling polymerization of a short conjugated polymer with an aliphatic linker was used to demonstrate a prototype in a new class of polymer semiconductors wherein the conjugation segment length and the length of the entire chain can be independ ...

The solid-state self-assembly of molecular semiconductors is a key aspect for controlling the optoelectronic properties of organic electronic materials. Herein, we investigate the use of a flexible linker strategy to control the self-assembly of a solution ...

Uncovering the precise effect of the conjugated polymer chain length on the semiconducting properties in thin-film devices is confounded by the step-growth polymerization techniques typically used. Here, we use preparatory size exclusion chromatography to ...

The development of fully-conjugated semiconducting block-copolymers is an important goal for organic electronics, but to date has been almost exclusively limited to materials containing poly(3-alkylthiophenes). Here we present the prototype of a class of f ...
