Searches for heavy Majorana neutrinos in B- decays in final states containing hadrons plus a mu(-) mu(-) pair have been performed using 0.41 fb(-1) of data collected with the LHCb detector in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. Th ...

We report a search for the decay B0→J/ψ, using a sample of 657×106 BB̄ pairs collected with the Belle detector at the Υ(4S) resonance. No statistically significant signal is found and an upper limit for the branching fraction is determined to be B(B0→J/ψ)< ...

The Cabibbo-suppressed decay Lambda b0-> chi (c1)p(-) is observed for the first time using data from proton-proton collisions corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb(-1), collected with the LHCb detector at a centre-of-mass energy o ...

Observations of exotic structures in the J/psi p channel, which we refer to as charmonium-pentaquark states, in Lambda(0)(b) --> J/psi K(-)p decays are presented. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb(-1) acquired with the LHCb de ...

A proton-proton collision data sample, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb(-1) collected by LHCb at root s = 7 and 8 TeV, is used to reconstruct 63 +/- 9 Omega(-)(b) -> Omega(0)(c)pi(-), Omega(0)(c) -> pK(-)K(-)pi(+) decays. Using the Xi(-)(b ...

The branching fraction and direct CP asymmetry of the decay B +. J/.. + are measured using protonproton collision data collected with the LHCb detector at centre- of- mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 3 fb - 1. ...

The B-s(0) -> J/psi K-s(0) branching fraction is measured in a data sample corresponding to 0.41 fb(-1) of integrated luminosity collected with the LHCb detector at the LHC. This channel is sensitive to the penguin contributions affecting the sin 2 beta me ...

Using a sample of 158 x 10(6) gamma (2S) events collected with the Belle detector, charmonium and charmoniumlike states with even charge parity are searched for in gamma (2S) radiative decays. No significant chi(cJ) or eta(c) signal is observed, and the fo ...

The production cross-sections of J/ψ mesons in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of √s = 5 TeV are measured using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9.13 ± 0.18 pb−1, collected by the LHCb experiment. The cross-sec ...

A search for the lepton-flavor-violating decays B-s(0) -> e(+/-)mu(-/+) and B-0 -> e(+/-)mu(-/+) is performed with a data sample, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb(-1) of pp collisions at root s = 7 TeV, collected by the LHCb experiment. ...

We report a study of the processes e+e-→J/ψD()D̄(). In J/ψDD̄ we observe a significant enhancement in the DD̄ invariant mass spectrum, which we interpret as a new charmoniumlike state and denote X(4160). The X(4160) parameters are M=(4156-20+25±15)Me ...

A study of (D+KS0) and (DK+)-K-0 final states is performed in a sample of 1.0 fb(-1) of p p collision data collected at a centre-of-mass energy of root s = 7TeV with the LHCb detector. We confirm the existence of the D*(s1) (2700)(+) and D*(sJ) (2860) + ex ...

The radiative decay Lambda(0 )(b)-> Lambda gamma is observed for the first time using a data sample of proton-proton collisions corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.7 fb(-1) collected by the LHCb experiment at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. I ...

The process gamma gamma -> phi J/psi is measured using a data sample of 825 fb(-1) collected with the Belle detector. A narrow peak of 8:8(-3.2)(+4.2) events, with a significance of 3.2 standard deviations including systematic uncertainty, is observed. The ...

The results of an amplitude analysis of the charmless three-body decay B+ -> pi(+)pi(+)pi(-) , in which CP-violation effects are taken into account, are reported. The analysis is based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb(-1) ...

The ratio of branching fractions R-K/pi = B (B-c(+) -> J/psi K+)/B(B-c(+) -> J/psi pi(+)) is measured with pp collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7TeV and 8TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb(-1) ...

We study B- meson decays to (p) over bar Lambda D-(*)0 final states using a sample of 657 x 10(6) B (B) over bar events collected at the Gamma(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. The observed branching fra ...

Using 535 X 10(6) B-meson pairs collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB e(+)e(-) collider, we measure branching fractions of (7.16 +/- 0.10(stat) +/- 0.60(syst) X 10(-4) for B+ -> J/psi K+ pi(+) pi(-) and (4.31 +/- 0.20(stat) +/- 0.50(syst)) X 10(-4) f ...

The process e+e-→K+K-J/ψ is observed for the first time via initial-state radiation. The cross section of e+e-→K+K-J/ψ for center-of-mass energies between threshold and 6.0 GeV is measured using 673fb-1 of data collected with the Belle detector on and off ...

The beam-gas vertex (BGV) detector is an innovative instrument measuring noninvasively the transverse beam size in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) using reconstructed tracks from beam-gas interactions. The BGV detector was installed in 2016 as part of the ...
