The analysis of theories with non-minimal coupling of Higgs field to gravity revealed that they enter into strong coupling regime above certain Higgs-dependent cutoff, which may be considerably below the Planck scale. Assuming that the effective theory, co ...

This paper describes the physics case for a new fixed target facility at CERN SPS. The SHiP (search for hidden particles) experiment is intended to hunt for new physics in the largely unexplored domain of very weakly interacting particles with masses below ...

We study the phase transition in SU(2)-Higgs model on the lattice using the 3D dimensionally reduced formalism. The 3D formalism enables us to obtain highly accurate Monte Carlo results, which we extrapolate both to the infinite volume and to the continuum limit. Our formalism also provides for a well-determined and unique way to relate the results to the perturbation theory. We measure the critical temperature, latent heat and interface tension for Higgs masses up to 70 GeV.

The generation of lepton asymmetry below the electroweak scale has a considerable impact on production of dark matter sterile neutrinos. Oscillations or decays of the heavier sterile neutrinos in the neutrino minimal standard model can give rise to the req ...

We analyse one-loop radiative corrections to the inflationary potential in the theory, where inflation is driven by the Standard Model Higgs field. We show that inflation is possible provided the Higgs mass mH lies in the interval mmin < mH < mmax, where m ...

The one-loop effective potential of the SU(5) model is investigated both in high and low temperature approximation. We find the regions of values of coupling constants and temperatures where the SU(5), the SU(4)×U(1) and the SU(3)×SU(2)×U(1) symmetric states are metastable. A general method of such an investigation is proposed. We observe that the domain structure of the Universe with the simultaneous existence of the gauge symmetries SU(4)×U(1) and SU(3)×SU(2)×U(1) in different domains could take place. ©

In response to the 2013 Update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics (EPPSU), the Future Circular Collider (FCC) study was launched as a world-wide international collaboration hosted by CERN. The FCC study covered an energy-frontier hadron collider ...

We discuss here a mechanism of baryon asymmetry generation in an extension of the minimal standard model by three right-handed neutrinos with masses smaller than the electroweak scale (the νMSM). © 2006 IOP Publishing Ltd. ...

After the Higgs boson has been discovered, the Standard Model of particle physics became a confirmed theory, potentially valid up to the Planck scale and allowing one to trace the evolution of the Universe from the inflationary stage till the present days. ...

The Higgs-dilaton cosmological model is able to describe simultaneously an inflationary expansion in the early Universe and a dark energy dominated stage responsible for the present day acceleration. It also leads to a nontrivial relation between the spect ...

The SND@LHC experiment was built for observing neutrinos arising from LHC pp collisions. The detector consists of two sections: a target instrumented with SciFi modules and a hadronic calorimeter/muon detector. Energetic νN collisions in the target produce hadronic showers. Reconstruction of the shower total energy requires an estimate of the fractions deposited in both the target and the calorimeter. In order to calibrate the SND@LHC response, a replica of the detector was exposed to hadron beams with 100

Stable baryonic Q-balls, which appear in supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model, could form at the end of cosmological inflation from fragmentation of the Affleck-Dine condensate. We reconsider astrophysical constraints on such Q-balls as dark mat ...

The Universe may contain sufficiently small size matter-antimatter domains at temperatures of a few hundred MeV, without violating the success of big bang nucleosynthesis. We demonstrate that this possibility enhances the keV scale sterile neutrino product ...

We study the phenomenology of light scalar quarks and the properties of a new family of hadrons containing such quarks in the framework of QCD taking into account non-perturbative effects caused by a possible existence of the condensate of the colored scalar fields. We suggest that 1-- bound state of scalar quark and antiquark may lie in the already accessible region {Mathematical expression} and be observable as resonance in PETRA e+e- collisions. © 1984 Springer-Verlag.

We find restrictions on the mass and mixing angle of the dark matter sterile neutrinos using x-ray observations of Coma and Virgo galaxy clusters with XMM-Newton satellite. In the absence of clearly detectable line, we present detailed analysis of various ...

We investigate an extension of the Minimal Standard Model by right-handed neutrinos (the νMSM) to incorporate neutrino masses consistent with oscillation experiments. Within this theory, the only candidates for dark matter particles are sterile right-hande ...

We show how to enlarge the νMSM (the minimal extension of the Standard Model by three right-handed neutrinos) to incorporate inflation and provide a common source for electroweak symmetry breaking and for right-handed neutrino masses. In addition to inflat ...

The existence of baryon asymmetry and dark matter in the Universe may be related to CP-violating reactions of three heavy neutral leptons (HNLs) with masses well below the Fermi scale. The dynamical description of the lepton asymmetry generation, which is ...
