This work focuses on Green's functions (GFs) of planar multilayered structures that may include an arbitrary number of conductive sheets. The spectral-domain GFs are derived through an automatized strategy based on the propagator matrix technique, while th ...

A hybrid acceleration algorithm for the computation of the static potential Green’s functions of a rectangular cavity is proposed. Similarly to Ewald’s method, it combines the series expansions in terms of images and modes. The main particularity with resp ...

Starting from the separate codes BI-RME and ECLOUD or PyECLOUD, we are developing a novel joint simulation tool, which models the combined effect of a charged particle beam and of microwaves on an electron cloud. Possible applications include the degradati ...

This paper deals with the interaction of electron clouds with microwaves inside beam-pipes like the one of the LHC in CERN. The details of the model and recent results are presented during the conference. ...

In this paper we compare the predicted Corona breakdown power threshold obtained by different ionization rate models for an infinite parallel-plate waveguide. We point out the lack of a unanimous model of the ionization rate for RF fields and study the dif ...

In this paper an innovative manufacturing technology is presented that combines electroforming and CFRP application and thus could be an enabling technology to achieve tuningless lightweight RF passive hardware with complex geometries. In order to demonstr ...

This paper presents new contributions to forward and inverse problems in 3D differential microwave imaging. This technique is well suited to monitor a pathological evolution, for instance the brain stroke of a patient. The forward problem is solved using a ...

This paper studies the effect of digitally modulated signals on the evolution of the multipaction phenomenon. Multipactor is numerically analyzed in a parallel plates waveguide for a variety of common digital modulation techniques. Breakdown power threshol ...

A complete dual polarized substrate integrated structure is presented. It comprises planar excitation schemes for both orthogonal TE10 and TE01 modes along with an orthomode transducer (OMT) to combine/split them. The whole structure is compact (only 2 lay ...
