A compound, in metal-free or metal complex form of formula (1) to (3) in which R is hydrogen or C1-30 alkyl; X is hydrogen, halogen (preferably Cl or Br) or C1-30 alkyl. ...

The photopolymerization of Co(II)/Co(III) complexes for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) by means of a fast, inexpensive, in situ and inhibition-free process has been examined. We have succeeded in fabricating high-performance DSSCs able to retain a ligh ...

The synthesis of new 1,2,3-triazolyl-pyridine ligands via "click-chemistry" and their corresponding Ru(L)(2,2'-bipyridyl-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid)(NCS)(2) complexes (L = 1,2,3-triazolyl-pyridine) are presented. The complexes have been photophysically and ele ...

Three heteroleptic ruthenium complexes incorporating new ancillary ligands synthesized by sequential connection of different alkyl functionalities with triazole as a linker are prepared using click chemistry. These sensitizers exhibit low-energy metal-to-l ...

We report a facile preparation approach of MAPbBr(3), MAPbCl(3), or FAPbBr(3) (where MA = CH3NH3+ and FA = CH(NH2)(2)(+)) perovskite nanowires via sequential synthesis of MAPbI(3) and FAPbI(3) nanowires with chemically controlled composition and morphologi ...

The development of metal-free organic sensitizers is a key issue in dye-sensitized solar cell research. We report successful photovoltaic conversion with a new class of stable tetrathiafulvalene derivatives, showing surprising electrochemical and kinetic p ...

Pivalic acid (PVA) was used as a new coadsorbent to dyesensitized solar cells (DSCs) to modify the interface between the TiO2 films and electrolyte. The addition of PVA improved the light-to-electricity conversion efficiency of devices by 8% by enhancing t ...
