Following our recent work on the use of Co(III) complexes as p-type dopants for triarylamine-based organic hole-conductors, we herein report on two new Co(III) complexes for doping applications. With the aim of ameliorating the dopant's suitability for its ...

Thieno[3,4-b]pyrazine (TPz) is examined as an electron deficient pi-bridge enabling near-infrared (NIR) spectral access in dye sensitized solar cells (DSCs). Seven dissymmetric dyes for DSCs were synthesized (NL2-NL8) with TPz as the pi-bridge utilizing pa ...

2,2,7,7-tetrakis(N,N-dip-methoxyphenylamine)-9,9-spirobifluorene (spiro-OMeTAD) is a popular hole-transporting material (HTM) in perovskite solar cells (PSCs), However, it suffers from high-cost and stability issues, which need to be overcome for PSC comme ...

A novel bifunctional linker molecule, bis(4-mercaptophenyl)phosphinic acid, is designed to be used in a QDs solar cells. The linker anchors to TiO2 mesoporous film through the phosphinic acid functional group and to the PbS QDs through the two thiol groups ...

The designed hole-transporting materials (HTMs) of asymmetric and symmetric benzoselenadiazole based molecules, referred as RSe-CF, RSe-TPA, and RSe-R, were synthesized and employed for improving the charge conduction and performance of mixed-halide (Cs(0. ...

We report two novel D-pi-A type organic dyes with a coplanar dithieno[2,3-d; 2',3'-d']benzo[1,2 b;4,5-b']dithiophene (DTBDT) as pi-spacer for dye-sensitized solar cells. A best device performance with a power conversion efficiency of 6.32% is achieved, mak ...

Charged cydometalated (CN) iridium(III) complexes with carbene-based ancillary ligands are a promising family of deep-blue phosphorescent compounds. Their emission properties are controlled primarily by the main CN ligands, in contrast to the classic ...

Two new cationic iridium(III) complexes with cyclometalating 1-phenylindazole or 2-phenyl-1,2,3-triazole ligands, (C boolean AND N)(2)Ir(4,4'-di-tert-butyl-2,2'-dipyridyl), exhibit yellow or green phosphorescence with quantum yields and excited stat ...
