The photopolymerization of Co(II)/Co(III) complexes for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) by means of a fast, inexpensive, in situ and inhibition-free process has been examined. We have succeeded in fabricating high-performance DSSCs able to retain a ligh ...

The present invention provides a generic electrode for photovoltaics, water splitting cells or any electro-chemical device where a three-dimensional transparent conductive backbone provides efficient charge extraction and can support an active guest materi ...

The synthesis of new 1,2,3-triazolyl-pyridine ligands via "click-chemistry" and their corresponding Ru(L)(2,2'-bipyridyl-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid)(NCS)(2) complexes (L = 1,2,3-triazolyl-pyridine) are presented. The complexes have been photophysically and ele ...

A simple approach to sensor development based on encapsulating a probe molecule in a cellulose support followed by regeneration from an ionic liquid solution is demonstrated here by the codissolution of cellulose and 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2- naphthol in 1-butyl ...

We report the results of an investigation on the preparation, spectral and photoelectrochemical properties of alkyne bridged dendron chromophores with carboxylic acid anchoring group, which adhere effectively to nanocrystalline (anatase) TiO2 surfaces yiel ...

Three heteroleptic ruthenium complexes incorporating new ancillary ligands synthesized by sequential connection of different alkyl functionalities with triazole as a linker are prepared using click chemistry. These sensitizers exhibit low-energy metal-to-l ...

We report a facile preparation approach of MAPbBr(3), MAPbCl(3), or FAPbBr(3) (where MA = CH3NH3+ and FA = CH(NH2)(2)(+)) perovskite nanowires via sequential synthesis of MAPbI(3) and FAPbI(3) nanowires with chemically controlled composition and morphologi ...

The present invention relates to a compound of formula (I) based on a structure comprising functionalized spirofluorene and fused aromatics or non-aromatic rings with at least one heteroatom, and used as hole transporting material in a optoelectronic and/o ...
