The presence of defects at the interface between the perovskite film and the carrier transport layer poses significant challenges to the performance and stability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Addressing this issue, we introduce a dual host-guest (DHG) ...

This paper addresses the origin of the decrease in the external electrical bias required for water photoelectrolysis with hematite photoanodes, observed following surface treatments of such electrodes. We consider two alternative surface modifications: a c ...

Attaining the durability of high-efficiency perovskite solar cells (PSCs) operated under concomitant light and thermal stresses is still a serious concern before large-scale application. It is crucial to maintain the phase stability of the organic hole-tra ...

The efficiencies of perovskite solar cells have gone from single digits to a certified 22.1% in a few years' time. At this stage of their development, the key issues concern how to achieve further improvements in efficiency and long-term stability. We revi ...

This is an Indian edition in one volume of our two volume book published by Universal Publishers

The long term stability of air processed inkjet infiltrated carbon based perovskite solar cells (CPSCs) is investigated under intense ultra-violet light soaking equivalent to 1.5 Sun UV light illumination. Two batches of the fabricated CPSCs were exposed s ...

A D-pi-A dye (KM-1) incorporating cyanobenzoic acid as a new acceptor/anchoring group has been synthesized for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs) with a high molar extinction coefficient of 66 700 M-1 cm(-1) at 437 nm. Theoretical calculations show that the ...

To prevent charge losses and degradation at the buried interface of inverted methylammonium-free perovskite solar cells, Li et al. form a 2D/3D perovskite structure using 2-aminoindan hydrochloride as an additive. ...

A hole transport material ST1 was synthesized by a one-step Heck reaction. Compared to Spiro-OMeTAD, perovskite solar cells with ST1 exhibit a remarkable overall power conversion efficiency of 15.4% without the use of any dopants and additives, which is co ...

This dataset underpins the following article published in the Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters: "The Impact of Spacer Size on Charge Transfer Excitons in Dion-Jacobson and Ruddlesden-Popper Layered Hybrid Perovskites" DOI: 10.1021/acs.jpclett.3c01125 ...

The tandem photovoltaic conversion device comprises at least one top photovoltaic cell unit and one bottom photovoltaic cell unit laminated along a light transmitting direction and electrically connected, wherein said top cell unit is a dye sensitised or s ...
