The orthogonal structure of the widely used hole transporting material (HTM) 2,2 ',7,7 '-tetrakis(N, N-di-p-methoxyphenylamino)-9,9 '-spirobifluorene (Spiro-OMeTAD) imparts isotropic conductivity and excellent film-forming capability. However, inherently w ...

Perovskite solar modules (PSMs) show outstanding power conversion efficiencies (PCEs), but long-term operational stability remains problematic. We show that incorporating N,N-dimethylmethyleneiminium chloride into the perovskite precursor solution formed d ...

Tin-lead (Sn-Pb) mixed perovskite has received widespread attention due to its suitable band gap width and high optical absorption coefficients. However, the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of Sn-Pb mixed perovskite solar cells (PSCs) is still low due to ...

Rhombohedral Pb(Zr0.70Ti0.30)O-3 thin films of four different well-defined textures, namely, (100), (111), bimodal (110)/(111), and (100)/(111), were prepared by a sol-gel method. The films were characterized in terms of grain size, presence of second phases, surface roughness, columnarity of grains, and other microstructural features. The dielectric, ferroelectric, and fatigue properties were investigated, with emphasis on the hysteresis switching characteristics. Results are discussed from the reference p

New Spiro-OMeTAD analogues and the simpler "half" structures with the terminated methoxyphenyl and/or carbazolyl chromophores are successfully synthesized under Hartwig-Buchwald amination conditions using commercially available starting materials. New fluo ...

Dopant-free hole transporting materials (HTMs) is significant to the stability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Here, we developed a novel star-shape arylamine HTM, termed Py-DB, with a pyrene core and carbon-carbon double bonds as the bridge units. Compa ...

The nucleation, growth, and orientation of lead zirconate titanate thin films prepared from organometallic precursor solutions by spin coating on (111) oriented platinum substrates and crystallized by rapid thermal annealing was investigated. The effects of pyrolysis temperature, post-pyrolysis thermal treatments, and excess lead addition are reported. The use of post-pyrolysis oxygen anneals at temperatures in the regime of 350-450 degrees C was found to strongly affect the kinetics of subsequent amorphous

Hole transport materials (HTMs) are a key component of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). The small molecular 2,2',7,7'-tetrakis(N,N-di-p-methoxyphenyl)-amine-9,9'-spirobifluorene (spiro-OMeTAD, termed "Spiro") is the most successful HTM used in PSCs, but its ...

Hybrid lead halide perovskites have reached comparable efficiencies to state-of-the-art silicon solar cell technologies. However, a remaining key challenge toward commercialization is the resolution of the perovskite device instability. In this work, we id ...

While perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have recently experienced a rapid rise in power conversion efficiency (PCE), the prevailing PSCs still contain nondesirable defects in the interior and interface of the perovskite layer, which limits further enhancement ...

Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are among the most promising photovoltaic technologies owing to their exceptional optoelectronic properties 1,2 . However, the lower efficiency, poor stability and reproducibility issues of large-area PSCs compared with labora ...

Despite recent increases in perovskite solar cell (PSC) efficiencies, long-term stability remains a barrier to manufacturing and marketing. SnO2 electron transport layers enable the low-temperature processing of planer n-i-p structured PSCs. However, ultra ...

Although the published values of power conversion efficiency (PCE) have increased continuously in recent years for perovskite solar cells (PSCs), improvements in the stability and performance of PSCs with conventional TiO2 or SnO2 electron transport layers ...

Perovskite crystal facets greatly impact the performance and stability of their corresponding photovoltaic devices. Compared to the (001) facet, the (011) facet yields better photoelectric properties, including higher conductivity and enhanced charge carri ...

The development of a scalable chemical bath deposition (CBD) process facilitates the realization of electrontransporting layers (ETLs) for large-area perovskite solar modules (PSMs). Herein, a method to prepare a uniform and scalable thick Zn2SnO4 ETL by C ...

Perovskite solar modules have been attracting increasing attention due to their market potential, yet publications concerned with theintrinsic scale-up potential of different perovskite compositions remain relatively scarce. On the other hand, while great ...

Salt passivation of perovskite often results in formation of 2D perovskite layers, which impaired charge transport behaviour. Here, the authors study the energy barrier of 2D perovskite formation upon passivation by different iodide salt, and provide insig ...

The incorporation of electron transport layers based on single-crystalline TiO2 rhombohedral nanoparticles enables the realization of stable and efficient large-area perovskite solar cell modules. ...
