The Laboratory of Astrophysics (LASTRO) at EPFL is dedicated to advanced research and high-quality education in the field of astrophysics. With expertise in Dark Energy & Dark Matter, Cosmological Parameters, and Galaxy Formation & Evolution, LASTRO conducts observations of extragalactic objects, models the cosmos, and tests astrophysical theories. The research team plays a leading role in international projects such as the Square Kilometre Array Observatory and the development of supercomputing infrastructure for processing astronomical data efficiently.
