Laboratory for Theoretical Fundamental Physics

The Theoretical Fundamental Physics Laboratory at EPFL focuses on utilizing Quantum Field Theory to address key issues in particle physics, cosmology, and quantum gravity. Current research areas include dynamics in de Sitter spacetime, holography in cosmology, quantum gravity models, gauge theory confinement, and strongly-coupled RG flows. The laboratory collaborates with the Simons collaboration on confinement and QCD strings, as well as with other high energy theory groups at EPFL.
