The present work shows the attenuation factors of an imperfect Faraday cage with respect to stiff front time Impulse waves. The aim of this work is to simulate the comportment of sensitive measuring electronic devices boxes against inpulse phenomena. For testing the cage perfomances high precision data acquisition and processing is needed. An original method permitting such measurements in a highly electromagneticaly perturbed environment is described. Result of measurements on a real scale for both the magnetic and electric field attenuation factor are given.
