Aerosol, trace gas and meteorological data measured at the University of Alaska Fairbanks Farm site in Fairbanks, Alaska during the Alaskan Layered Pollution And Chemical Analysis (ALPACA)-2022 field study

These measurements were made as part of the Alaskan Layered Pollution And Chemical Analysis (ALPACA)-2022 field study (https://alpaca.community.uaf.edu/alpaca-field-study/), which investigated air pollution under dark and cold conditions in Fairbanks, Alaska in January and February, 2022. This data set includes aerosol measurements (Number concentration above 7 nanometer (nm), number size distribution for mobility diameters between 8 and 1500 nm and optical diameters between 186 and 3370 nm, light absorption coefficients at wavelengths of 450, 525 and 624 nm), trace gas measurements (Carbon monoxide (CO) and ozone (O3)) and meteorological measurements (Barometric pressure, temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and direction and four-component radiation fluxes). Measurements were performed at the University of Alaska (UAF) Farm site, a suburban area of Fairbanks (64.853°N, 147.859°W, 138 meter above sea level). The UAF Farm site was the location of vertical measurements of the layered pollution. The current dataset represents a ground-based reference for the vertical measurements.
